The pig of plains was born, brought up and down only in Picardy. Brought up in small groups, the pigs have a good straw surface in which one they can cavort freely. They are fed with cereal. Food and exercise allow to obtain a flavourful and delicious meat which not dissolve while cooking...
From meats " porks of plains ", the ham with rind restores to the gastronomes the envy to sample a real boiled delicious tasted ham.
The pâté of Vimeu is a pâté of country made with the pigs of plains. It samples nature or in the garlic.
